Steel Sales is an important element in Northrop Grumman Ship Systems Avondale Operations' ability to offer the broadest possible range of services to its customers.

As one of the most important suppliers of carbon steel plates and shapes in the Gulf Coast area, Avondale Operations specializes in ASTM A-36 and ABS Grades.

Steel Sales provides steel products to the marine, oil field construction, and industrial sectors in the Gulf South.

A 15-acre storage area on the Harvey Canal has barge loading and unloading facilities and direct rail access. Delivery equipment includes 12 tractors and 30 trailers for expedited service.

Avondale Operations has an outstanding record for meeting customer demands with efficient delivery of high quality materials.
