Northrop Grumman Ship Systems Full Service Operations has a complete Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) capability for ship construction and repair. We developed these multiple skills sets in response to ship design, construction, and overhaul contract requirements in our early corporate life as part of Ingalls Shipbuilding. We offer a full array of efficiently developed supply support documentation, configuration control, maintenance systems, technical publications and training for the new construction and ship repair environment. Full Service Operations provides permanent logisticians in our Fleet Support Offices to directly assist US Navy ship availabilities as part of our DD963/CG47 Planning Yard Services Contract. These On-Site Logistics Representatives (OSLR) are core members of our Fleet Support Teams.
Full Service Operations has logistics capacity to cover the combined peak demands of new construction and fleet support. Our available capacity can save the performing activities the overhead expense of building up their own capability. Full Service Operations can customize an ILS support scope to meet the contractual requirements for all ship projects. Our people are qualified and can work at your site or in their Pascagoula office where extensive Information Technology Systems link them to our vast suppliers network and US Government electronic databases. Our logistics capabilities are available to foreign navies and commercial customers as well as the US Navy.
