Fleet Support

Northrop Grumman Ship Systems Full Service Operations has established Fleet Support Offices in most US Navy homeports and in Washington DC as part of our D963/CG47 Planning Yard Services contract. These offices and their permanently assigned FSO personnel provide both professional and managerial services and facilities to support ship availabilities in the area. Each office has a contingent of senior engineers, designers, logistician and program managers who serve as vital communications links between the FSO Planning Yard operation, NAVSEA and local Navy agencies such as TYCOM, Ship Commanding Officers and Supervisor of Shipbuilding and Repair. In addition, they provide a core cadre to build support teams for specific ship repair or modernization availabilities, technical data repository, temporary office for support personnel, material warehousing and IT facilities.
